- Objectives, activities and expected/achieved results:

OXRAY is a company with about 10 years of activity in the field of international trade, with delegations and exclusive representatives in Angola and the United Kingdom (London), currently specializing in the acquisition and distribution of medicines, medical devices, safety and diagnostic equipment .

As a result of knowledge of the products and the market, and noting the scarcity of supply in the field of equipment and personal protection devices to fight the SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) virus pandemic, it intends to contribute to increasing the response capacity immediate to the needs, in particular of healthcare personnel (doctors, nurses and assistants) proposing, through this project, to ensure its own production capacity for products such as 3-layer surgical masks for medical use in the hospital environment , operating room gowns, hospital pajamas, eye opening smooths, face opening smocks, hospital and laboratory gowns, caps, high-boots, low-boots, cuffs, leggings, professional trousers, ladies' coveralls and women's coveralls men.

In short, the company's main objective is to ensure immediate mass production of a set of products aimed at containing the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic and aimed primarily at the professional healthcare sector.

The investment to be carried out involves the adaptation and preparation of the factory space for the activity and the installation of 2 production lines, namely, a production line for surgical masks sized for a production capacity of around 5,400,000 units/year and a line of PPE production scaled in turn to a production of about 1,650,000 units/year.

The results to be achieved within the scope of the project, in a cruise year, are as follows:

- Number of products (goods and services) relevant to COVID-19: 10.

The project was completed with practically no deviations to be noted, except for the change of location (although in the same NUTS) motivated by the need for better conditions for the development of the project, and duly authorized by IAPMEI, having reached a degree of execution of the investment total very close to 100% and slightly higher in the case of eligible and guaranteed full achievement of the proposed objectives and expected results.
